Arabian Ethicals was established in 1977 to service the pharmaceutical industry as an agent for the management, storage, and distribution of manufacturers’ brands to both the private and governmental sectors.

Today, Arabian Ethicals has grown into one of the leading healthcare distributors in the UAE, distributing 50 brands across its pharmaceutical core business, animal health, and consumer division.

Akhtar spent much of his 30 years’ in finance in the manufacturing, trading, and service industries of India and Saudi Arabia before moving to Dubai as finance director of a large IT distributor. He joined Arabian Ethicals in 2013 and specializes in financial reporting, business analysis, capital management, business processes & operational effectiveness, budget & forecasting, and strategic planning.

An experienced Marketing Professional with a demonstrated history in the pharmaceuticals industry, Tijana oversees the design and execution of all marketing and trade marketing activities for Arabian Ethicals’ partner brands, as well as directing the company’s public-relations strategy. Tijana’s positive disposition to tasks makes working together not just easier, but more enjoyable too.

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Alexandria University and started her career in sales working for large multinational companies before she moved to regulatory affairs. Sandra facilitates the registration of products, manages our pharmacovigilance programme, maintains quality management and oversees activities related to the storage and distribution of healthcare products and their services.

Issa manages Arabian Ethicals’ entire supply-chain to keep it aligned to our demanding business needs. With ten years of experience in logistics and supply chain, his skills include warehouse design, project-costing and forecasts as well as facility re-engineering and process mapping. His expertise also includes relationships, TQM and systems enhancement.

BADER SALEM ALMHEIRI Collection Manager

Bader ensures that Arabian Ethicals’ credit and collections cases are handled according to company policy. With 11 years in government and 8 years in banking, he has enjoyed verifiable success in capitalizing on growth opportunities, improving bottom-line performance and optimizing efficiencies. By delivering value-added systems and procedures, Bader excels at working in unison with customers, staff and key internal/external stake holders.

PRAVEEN LAKHWANI Sales Manager

Praveen Lakhwani joined Arabian Ethicals from Geltec, one of our key business partners with whom he worked for the past five years. Geltec recently outsourced all local operations for their range of high-quality nutraceuticals to Arabian Ethicals and Praveen has been appointed as head of our new Geltec sales team. Praveen brings with him over 19 years of experience in sales and marketing: prior to joining Geltec, he has worked in various roles with Globalpharma and Himalaya Herbal Healthcare in Dubai and was instrumental in building strong brands in orthopedic, gynecology, and cardiovascular segments across the Middle East region. Praveen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from India.

From distribution management to expertise in various aspects of pharmaceuticals, his work in renowned organisations has strengthened his sales, operations and business management.

Strategically headquartered in Dubai Silicon Oasis, we operate from eight light industrial units that span a total of 2,880 square meters.

Arabian Ethicals imports more than 50 brands from various multinational pharmaceutical, consumer, and animal health manufacturers, and manages a nation-wide distribution network.

Arabian Ethicals Pharmacovigilance Form

Using this form healthcare professionals can report any suspected Adverse Reaction (AR), Medication Error (ME) and Adverse Event experienced from any of the drug product within the stipulated timeframe as defined in DoH policies, even if reporters are not certain that the particular medicinal product was the cause.

Unintended adverse effects, drug abuse, overdose, interaction (including drug-drug and drug-food interactions) and unusual lack of therapeutic efficacy are all considered to be reportable suspected Adverse Reactions (AR).
